I went to a Chinese company to participate in interviewing candidates.
Two interviewees a team, a guy and I came into the room where have several little tables with three chairs, two of them for interviewees. Once we sat a staff appeared at the other side of the table and said to me with smiles: “You didn’t pass the test first round but our company would like to give you another chance. You know the reason, didn’t you? ”
I realized immediately he remind me that the reason I could be here was benefit from an acquaintance in this company. So I replied: “Thanks, I will try my best not to waste this hard-won chance.” The staff left with understanding laugh. The guy in my team glanced at me for a while, I didn’t mind his disdain, didn’t feel any unfair, either. Because it is the potential rule of seeking a job in nowadays China.
Next I looked a paper on the table, writing a question for all of interviewees: “Do you think tomorrow will be sunny or rain?” What a Damned question in this interview! I cudgeled my brains for the answer but someone else has been starting talk fluently and endlessly… I feel hopeless again
Then, I woke up. Maybe it just like some old sayings, Dream is always opposite to reality.
